Ingredients:

Method:

Step 1:

Wash the fish with salt and water. I use small fish, but you can use your favorite type of fish, although small fish taste better for this recipe. Add some oil to the pan. Add black cumin seeds for a nice flavor and aroma. Add the onions and sauté for a few minutes.

Step 2:

Add the tomato to the onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric, salt, cumin, coriander, black pepper, red chili powder, and garlic-ginger paste to the pan along with 1/2 cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat.

Step 3:

When the oil starts to separate from the curry, it’s time to add the fish. Cook the fish with the masala for 2-4 minutes more. Add 1 cup of water to the curry. Cook for 6-7 minutes on low heat. When the fish becomes tender and a delicious aroma comes out, it’s done. Now serve the spicy fish curry with plain rice.
