Delicious Lentil Soup With Tomatoes

If anyone wants to maintain a healthy diet, lentil soup may be their escape. It’s common in the Asian region. This is a very healthy recipe to have, with loads of plant protein. On a vegan diet, this recipe can replace your non-vegetarian meal. Follow our easy-peasy steps for this delicious soup.

Ingredients:

Method:

Step 1:

First, wash the lentils and chop the onion, garlic, green chilies, and tomatoes.

Step 2:

Put some water in a high pan and add lentils, green chilies, half-chopped onions, and half-chopped garlic (save the rest for later tempering).

Step 3:

Give time to boil all ingredients together, then add turmeric and salt. 

Step 4:

We must temper the soup when the lentil seeds are cooked and the mixture gets thicker. It’s totally a optional step, but it makes the soup more yummy.

Step 5:

Put oil in another high pan and add the rest of the garlic, onions, and chilies. Cook until it gets brown. Add the lentil soup and the chopped tomatoes. Again, cook for another 5–6 minutes. Now here is your amazing, delicious, protein-filled lentil soup, ready.
