Custard Bun

A custard bun is a moist bread filled with custard inside. This dessert has my whole heart. I often make it at home, as my family loves it too. It is quite easy to make if you have an oven at home. The custard bun is filled with love. Let’s make some custard and custard buns together.

Delicious. Dessert. Yummy.

Method:

Step 1:

First, I prepare the dough, as it takes time. Mix the yeast with some water and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Then mix all the ingredients together. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2:

Take a bowl and crack the eggs, then add all the ingredients one by one. Mix it properly. Take a pan, boil the milk, and pour the egg mixture into the milk. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

Step 3:

After 30-40 minutes, start kneading the dough. Cut the dough into evenly sized pieces with a knife. Take one piece and make a round shape with a rolling board and rolling pin. Put some custard cream in the middle. Shape it into a ball.

Step 4:

Now spread some egg white on top with a brush. Put it in the oven and bake at 200°C for 15 minutes. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
