Classic Spaghetti Carbonara

Carbonara pasta is a classic Italian dish that is usually made from pork belly meat, eggs, cheese, and olive oil. This classic carbonara recipe is my favorite go-to dinner date recipe. This gorgeous spaghetti recipe has lavish amounts of cheese, which makes it creamy and delicious. I will share my simple classic carbonara recipe with spaghetti. I make it with beef bacon and loads of Parmesan cheese. This easy pasta recipe takes just 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

Method:

Step 1:

Start by frying the bacon in a pan with some olive oil and salt. When it is nicely fried and crispy, transfer it onto a plate.

Step 2:

Next, boil the spaghetti with some salt and 1/2 tsp oil. Meanwhile, I mix the cheese with the egg yolks to make a creamy yellow paste in a bowl.

Step 3:

Boil the spaghetti for 7-8 minutes on medium to high heat. When it’s done, remove the spaghetti from the water and put it in the bowl with the cheese and egg yolks. Mix it well. Add some salt, pepper, and 1/2 cup of spaghetti water to make it creamy. Finally, add the crispy bacon on top. Garnish with some Parmesan cheese. The classic spaghetti carbonara is ready to eat.
