Authentic Hungarian Goulash

Essentially, Hungarian goulash is a fiery stew made primarily of vegetables and meat. It’s a staple of Hungarian cooking and among the most well-known beef stews worldwide. It is loaded with veggies, an excellent protein, vitamin, and mineral source. I enjoy preparing goulash on special occasions. I always remember making this dish whenever I could because it’s that good.

Method:

Step 1:

First, cut the veggies into small pieces. Season the beef pieces with some salt and pepper and put some oil and meat pieces in the pan to cook until the meat pieces become brown and tender. Transfer the pieces into a bowl.

Step 2:

Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the large pan and put in the garlic and onions to cook. Add paprika and salt to the pan. It will enhance the red color of the stew.

Step 3:

Add the bell peppers, tomato, and carrots to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the fried beef and cook again for 2 minutes. Finally, add the vegetable stew to the dish and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium to low flame. And finally, the famous beef stew goulash is ready.
